Arvind Kejriwal got relief from Supreme Court in the ED case but there are big problems in the CBI case, will he not be released now?The Supreme Court on Friday granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy scam. While granting bail, Justice Sanjeev Khanna said – Kejriwal has been in jail for 90 days. Therefore, we order him to be released.
We know that he is an elected leader and it is up to him to decide whether he wants to remain the Chief Minister or not.Justice Khanna said- We are transferring this case to a larger bench. What is the policy of arrest, what is its basis. For this, we have also prepared 3 such questions. If the larger bench wants, it can make changes in Kejriwal’s interim bail.Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21.
After that, the Rouse Avenue Court sent him to custody. Kejriwal challenged the arrest and custody in the Supreme Court, on which a hearing was held.Kejriwal has got bail in ED’s money laundering case. The second case against him is of CBI. In which his judicial custody has been extended till July 25, so he will not be able to come out of jail.
