Electoral equations changed in 24 hours
BJP won in Haryana, there are many factors behind this. But amidst all this, Amit Shah’s hit formula of changing the CM worked in Haryana as well. A day before the result day i.e. today, Tuesday, Congress had already accepted that it was going to form the government in Haryana.
After the counting of votes in the assembly elections in Haryana , BJP maintained a consistent lead in the trends. During the counting of votes, BJP has got a clear majority in the trends. At a time when all the exit polls were claiming a landslide victory for the Congress in Haryana, the election results and trends once again proved the exit polls’ predictions wrong and gave BJP a hat-trick of victories. The evergreen hit formula of Amit Shah, who is called the Chanakya of BJP, worked perfectly in Haryana as well.
BJP’s formula of changing the CM just before the elections worked in Haryana as well. 7 months before the Haryana assembly elections, the then CM Manohar Lal Khattar was suddenly removed from the post, shocking everyone. Actually, BJP had contested the elections in 2019 under Khattar’s leadership but could not get a majority. Therefore, BJP did not want to take any risk. Therefore, Manohar Lal was removed and Nayab Singh Saini was given the command.
A ‘cold war’ had also started between Congress’ Bhupinder Hooda and Selja for the CM post. Both the leaders had made their claims for the CM post and had made the high command aware of their sentiments. After this defeat, Congress once again raised questions on the administrative machinery. Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera also spoke out. But contrary to their statements, BJP achieved a hat-trick of victories in Haryana.
Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party could not win even a single seat in Haryana.
