Plane Crash in Nepal ,18 People Died

A plane crashed in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu on Wednesday morning. 18 of the 19 people on board the plane have died. The injured pilot Captain M. Shakya has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The plane was going from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

The plane took off from Tribhuvan Airport at around 11 am. It crashed shortly after. The 9N-AME plane belonged to Saurya Airlines. Out of the people killed in the accident, 17 were staff of Saurya Airlines, while the remaining 2 were crew members. Out of the 18 people killed in the accident, three belong to the same family. These include Mun Raj Sharma, his wife Preeja Khatiwada and their four-year-old son Adi Raj Sharma. Actually, this 21-year-old plane was being taken for testing after repair.

The people present in the plane were the testing staff of the company. According to Kathmandu Post, immediately after the accident, a team of police and fire fighters reached the spot for rescue operation.
