Stones were pelted on Shiv Baraat on Shivratri in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh 14 injured .

On Mahashivratri, stone pelting took place in two areas of Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh when Hindus were taking out shiv barat  on Shivratri

The incident is of Shiv Mandir located in Bihasra of Jigana area. A program was going on here. During this, two parties clashed over the dispute of land possession. There was heavy lathi-stick use and stone pelting. Women were also beaten up. 4 people were also injured in this incident. A video of this incident has also surfaced on social media.

The police was present on the spot during the fight. They also kept mediating, despite this people were not listening. The victim party has filed a complaint in Jigana police station and demanded action. SDM Sadar Gulabchand said that there was a scuffle during the Shiv barat in Kachwan. Both the parties have been explained. Police have been instructed to take action in the case of the fight in Jigana.

A Shiv barat was being taken out on Mahashivratri near a religious place in Jamalpur of Kachwan police station area. During this, people of another community asked to reduce the volume of the DJ. When the volume was not reduced, first there was an altercation, later stone pelting started. 10 people were injured in the incident. Police reached the spot and pacified the people. After this, the Shiv procession moved forward.
